Volunteer Sought for Bridge’s West Hartford Teen Center

The Bridge Family Center is seeking an adult willing to commit their time to volunteer at the West Hartford Teen Center.  The goal of the Teen Center is to provide a safe, fun, substance-free environment where West Hartford teens can spend time with their friends and connect with supportive adults.  While there, teens enjoy basketball, billiards, video games, dancing, and other various activities.  Responsibilities include supervising teens, engaging them in conversation and activities, and bringing energy and new ideas.  The ideal person would be someone who enjoys teenagers and has a caring heart and an open mind.  

The Teen Center is located in Elmwood Community Center and is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. during the school year.
